Young Aussie Ellie Salthouse won the Ironman Cozumel 70.3, besting a solid field that included Svenja Thoes of Germany and Angela Naeth of Canada.  It was Salthouse's 2nd win of the year (Boulder 70.3).  Ellie's overall time of 4:15:12 was a 90 seconds ahead of Thoes and she dropped the fastest run split of the day with a 1:24 half marathon to take the top podium.
