One of the winningest professionals on the Ironman 70.3 circuit,  Canada's Heather Wurtele, won the 2019 Ironman Campeche 70.3 this past weekend with an impressive performance over a couple of American rivals, Jacalyn Hering and Lauren Brandon.  With a dominating bike split that erased her swim exit deficit of nearly 3 minutes, Heather remained steady on the run to take the win over a hard charging Hering who posted the fastest run of the day.  2019 was Wurtele's 3rd win at Campeche.
