Davide Giardini was thrilled to sign a partnership with La Sportiva USA in 2022. As he points out, he has admired the brand for years and it is truly a dream to work with them. Together, they have created a video and blog series all about Ski Touring or SkiMo. In the videos, Davide takes us through ski touring adventures in different seasons. He talks about not only why he loves this sport by a little bit of how-to to get beginners started. Below you’ll find the first 3 videos that were filmed by Roo Smith. SkiMo will be debuting at the 2026 Winter Olympics which will be hosted in Italy-Davide’s home country. Davide has been participating in SkiMo races for several years and is a regular podium finisher.  Including 2^nd place at the 2020 U.S. Spring National Championships and 3^rd at the 2019 Breckenridge Five Peaks. In December he placed 4^th at the USA Skimo National Cup at Arapahoe Basin in Colorado.

Davide is also very busy in the Boulder Community. He founded and leads the Boulder SkiMo Club which meets regularly for races, training as well as clinics. Demos and clinics led by Davide at Eldora Ski Resort begin February 1^st and will continue every Wednesday throughout the season. Davide loves to share his knowledge and bring people into his sport. When he isn’t training for or teaching SkiMo, Davide is the Marketing Director at Full Cycle.
