Mexico's Golden Child of Professional Triathlon, Mauricio Mendez, continues to impress fans of the multisport with a win at the Xterra's Air Tahiti Nui Triathlon.  With a 2:40:08 finish time, Mendez took down a solid field including Kiwi Sam Osborne and Australian champion Ben Allen.  There is no doubt that Xterra youngest ever World Champion has a long successful career ahead of him.  HIG's World Champion triathlete Lesley Paterson took 2nd place.
