Super Mom's Streak Continue: Radka Takes Down Geelong
Radka Kahlefeldt wasted no time establishing her greatest streak ever in professional triathlon with a win at her 2019 season opener, the popular Ironman Geelong 70.3. The Czech Super Mom stunned the world of triathlon with a dream season in 2018, the same year she and husband Brad (former professional triathlete) welcomed baby Ruby to the world. The 2019 Geelong race proved to be highly competitive as Rads, Ellie Salthouse, Sarah Alexander, Caroline Steffan and Grace Thek were just seconds apart out of the swim. The podium would still be together as they finished the bike and exited T2 but with Radka's 1:21:56 half marathon, she took the win with a 1 minute lead on Ellie Salthouse. "Radka's performances the last 14 months have been nothing short of spectacular", said Human Interest Group Sports founder Franko Vatterott. She has truly redefined the standard of the SuperMom term in professional triathlon.
