Bruckner Chase is a globally recognized expert in the field of ocean advocacy, safety, and conservation.  He is the founder of 501c3 Ocean Positive, an organization focused on driving evidence based engagement that empowers positive ocean connections and actions.  Brucker develops meaningful programs and opportunities for sustainable positive impacts on the health, well-being, safety, and strength of our oceans and coastal communities.  For example, NOAA Ocean Today’s “Wave Safe with Bruckner Chase” film series, a community engagement initiative with a projected reach of 16 million viewers; Blue Journey Unified Global Para-Surf Lifesaving Program, creating ocean access and surf lifesaving sports for those with spinal cord injuries; and Expanding Your Blue IQ on The Weather Channel, a life-saving program that builds situational awareness with the goal of preventing drowning and multi-victim rescues from coast to coast in the United States.
