Radka Vodickova Kahlefeldt is a professional triathlete and revered “super mom” from the Czech Republic who has dominated Ironman 70.3 racing. The 2012 Olympian and former ITU star accrued double-digit victories in both Olympic and half iron-distance triathlon before shifting her full-time racing focus to longer distance. In 2018, Radka became a mother a baby girl, Ruby, then remarkably returned to racing a mere 11 weeks later, seizing an incredible win at Ironman 70.3 Philippines. Radka earned multiple victories throughout 2019, including those at Ironman 70.3 Viet Nam and the 70.3 Asia Pacific Championship. She thrilled spectators with an exciting come from behind win in front of a home-country crowd at Challenge Prague, and she also finished 6th at the 2019 Ironman 70.3 World Championships. In total, Radka accumulated an impressive 7 race victories and 11 podium finishes within 12 months of having a baby. In 2021, Radka celebrated the arrival of her second child, daughter Indi. She is back in prime racing form, and has earned multiple podiums in 2023 in preparation for the Ironman World Championships Kona.
Radka was one of the first women in professional triathlon to display the resilience, power and spirit of new moms. Her achievements in sport set the stage for what is possible post-pregnancy, and she helped inspire a surge in triathlon performances by new moms. Radka fluently speaks four languages, and she currently trains and lives with her husband, Brad, and family in Australia.
